An evocative animated musical created by a group of adults with learning differences from The Hub, Yeovil, this short film explores emotions, dreams, and everyday life.
It captures the highs and lows of human connection, from moments of joy and creativity to struggles with self-identity.
With raw authenticity, it paints a portrait of navigating our inner worlds and relationships. A powerful celebration of growth, vulnerability, and the beauty in simple moments, this film reminds us that togetherness is the greatest energy we can share.

Crybaby
Animation short. Currently touring festivals
Crybaby is a semi autobiographical animation, about a character called Carys, growing up and later in life being diagnosed as Autistic. All her life she had crushing self doubt and would burst into tears at the slightest interaction. Biggerhouse worked and developed the idea with director Eleri Edwards, through their Cardiff Animation Festival – Different Voices program. The idea was picked up and supported by Ffilm Cymru and will be premiered in 2025.

The dawn of the dark fox

Experimental Animation/documentary/drama hybrid, from the imagination of autistic director Michael Smith and his avenging alter-ego the Dark Fox. THE DAWN OF THE DARK FOX feature builds on the developing collaboration between biggerhouse film maker Tom Stubbs and Michael Smith, who have been working together for over 15 years. Their first film LIGHT & DARK made in 2008, took the audience prize at Encounters and is a comedy about autism, friendship and the film making process combining documentary, fiction & fantasy.
